Meet Chef Joon Park

Chef Joon Park began his journey into the world of sushi at the age of 18. Growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, he developed a deep appreciation for fine sushi, inspired by the renowned establishments in the area. Over the next 15 years, he honed his craft working at several of Chicago’s most celebrated sushi restaurants, including Arami, Juno, and Mako, the latter of which earned a Michelin star.
With a wealth of experience gained in the heart of Chicago’s culinary scene, Park decided to return to his roots and open his own restaurant in Arlington Heights. This venture has been a fulfilling culmination of years of hard work and passion, bringing the art of sushi to his hometown.
At his restaurant, Chef Joon works closely with a skilled team that shares his dedication to quality and excellence. His primary goal is to provide every guest with an exceptional dining experience, characterized by the highest standards of sushi craftsmanship. He is committed to passing on his expertise to both his team and his customers, ensuring that each meal reflects his passion.
